Ron Hubbard, the Church of Scientology would seem a natural fit for the SF community, but its most high-profile practitioners are Hollywood actors such as Tom Cruise and John Travolta (who starred in a movie based on Hubbard’s Battlefield Earth). Let’s discuss Scientology’s influence on SF and vice-versa. Panelists will include a winner of the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest.
