In 1986, the author of 2001: A Space Odyssey put out a massive coffee table book entitled July 20, 2019: Life in the 21st Century which was filled with predictions of what our daily existence would be like on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Now that the day has come and gone, let’s take a look at what he got right … and what he got hilariously wrong.
