The ChattaCon committee has announced Guest of Honor at Chattacon 3 the weekend of Jan. 5-8, 1978, in Chattanooga. A.E. van Vogt, the author of Slan, The Silkie and other SF classics, joins Arsen Darnay and Perry Chapdelaine as invited guests at the convention, with Darnay serving as Master of Ceremonies.
Originally Van Vogh was to be GoH at the proposed DixieCon78 Deep South Convention next year, but when the bid 1ost, Van Vogt was re-invited for ChattaCon instead.
