We know 2020 has been a crazy year! And it certainly doesn’t seem to be slowing down. We hope everyone is staying safe and reading a good book (or a few dozen) with all of this extra time at home.
Let’s talk about Chattacon 2021. We have had multiple meetings to discuss the feasibility of having an in-person event at the end of January 2021. We have closely monitored the COVID 19 situation with a very keen eye on the safety of our fans, guests and volunteers. Sadly, like so many others before us, we simply do not see a way to do this safely.
But, don’t despair! This doesn’t mean that there isn’t going to be a Chattacon 46!
For 2021 we are going virtual! What does this mean? We are diligently working to bring you an exciting online gathering feathering our Guests of Honor with panels, vendors, gaming, and artists… even a con suite!
We know nothing can replace the “full con” experience, and we are not trying to do that. We want to give our fans a bit of fun, time with friends, and connection with those things we all love about Chattacon.
We know you will have questions regarding your badge if you have already pre purchased and if you have already booked your hotel room. We will be making a separate post soon about these two items.
We are heartbroken that we will not be seeing you face to face for the 46th Chattacon, but we are so excited to have a way to connect with our fan family and make some new friends! Then we will all celebrate together, live in 2022!!
