The People of Chattacon

All guests of honor, panelists, performers, presenters, artists or any other individual who may present in some way at Chattacon are booked in good faith and we have their guarantee that they will appear when we announce they will be at the convention. However, unforeseen events (illness, family emergencies or production work) may cause a particular guest to cancel.

Rob Reed

Rob Reed writes across multiple genres including science fiction, fantasy, mysteries, and thrillers. His fiction has been featured in the nationally best-selling anthologies, “Forged in Blood” and “Freehold: Resistance,” both edited by Michael Z. Williamson.

In 2020 he co-edited (with Amie Gibbons) and published the urban fantasy anthology, “Supernatural Streets” which included his “80’s buddy cop movie only they are ex-cons who fight monsters” story “Night Hawks.” He is currently working on a novel in J.F. Holmes “Fallen Empire” universe.

Rob has been an emergency room clerk, newspaper reporter, magazine staff writer, and web content producer. He is also a firearms instructor, collector of vintage military weapons, and all around “projectile launcher enthusiast.” He writes about the history and use of firearms for a variety of publications and websites and has acted as a weapons consultant for other authors. He lives with his wife, Marie, in the Metro Detroit area with their three cats and their untenably large book collection. Rob inherited his love of books from his parents, both voracious readers, and reads anything and everything he can get his hands on.

You can purchase his books on Amazon.
