The People of Chattacon

All guests of honor, panelists, performers, presenters, artists or any other individual who may present in some way at Chattacon are booked in good faith and we have their guarantee that they will appear when we announce they will be at the convention. However, unforeseen events (illness, family emergencies or production work) may cause a particular guest to cancel.

Madolyn Locke

Born and raised in Alabama, Madolyn has lived in Atlanta long enough to consider herself a native. She received her first ‘real’ camera from her uncle at the age of 13 and was immediately captivated. Photography was set aside for a while, however, as she dove into the world of Theatre throughout high school and then as a BFA major at Auburn University. It wasn’t until years later that Madolyn rediscovered her passion for the art form and decided to get serious about her work. Along the way she added graphic design to her tool-kit and has done extensive work in logo creation, website design, and book cover design. Artistically, she primarily works in the medium of photography, but has started exploring the process of adding hand-painted details to canvas prints.

Madolyn is thrilled to have been selected for several exhibitions in Atlanta and across the country, including becoming a fixture at the Art Show of the renowned Dragon*Con annual convention where she won ‘Best Photography’ in 2018 and ‘Best Photography/Digital Art’ in 2019, and had her first solo show in November 2017. She is excited to see where this journey will take her.
