There is also a group registration option for pre-registering through mail. If you have at least ten registration forms all with one form of payment, there is a group discount of $5 off each form.
* A child is someone 12 years old or younger on the date of registration. If the child is under the age of 8 and stays with the parent at all times, you can elect to register the child as a “Kid in Tow” which will generate a special badge. Should the child be found out of the company of their parent, the child will be required to register at the regular child rate.
** These promotional rates will be offered from time-to-time at publicity parties and other special events. Look for advertisements at your local convention.
*** In order to qualify for staff registration, you must work at the convention in some capacity. Shift requirements vary by department. Please contact the department head of the area in which you wish to work for more information.
Chattacon 34 Art Show
Art Show The Chattacon Art Show is well known throughout fandom as one of the best and we are not about to lessen our reputation this year. A varied and interesting assortment of flat and 3D artwork will be on display for your viewing enjoyment and acquisition. A print shop will be available again this year to allow you to purchase prints of some of your favorite works of art. Hours: Artist check- in will be Friday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday – 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Chattacon’s Art Show is blessed with a large enough room to offer space for an Artist’s Nook. This will be a space where you the artist can set up and draw, paint, sculpt, work on that current project. Also in the Nook we would like to offer small, mini-workshops. Stay tuned to this space for Workshops that will be offered when we are closer to the convention. At 1:00 pm. in the Art Show Star Roberts and Susan Schockley will present a Paper Art Workshop. Panels and Readings
Chattacon plans to offer interesting panels, readings, discussions and demonstrations. If there is anything you’d like to see or if you would like to participate in a panel or demonstration please contact Cyndi Holtsclaw or drop us a line via the PO Box and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If you have ideas or have seen something at another convention that you find interesting, please feel free to tell us – we are always looking for ways to improve our programming!
Masquerade
Chattacon’s Masquerade is always a big draw. The creativity and inventiveness of our costumers never ceases to impress our audiences. The winner will take home a cash prize.

Arcattack (and their Singing Tesla Coils)
ARTC is proud to present an adaptation of Katherine Kurtz’s charming
short story of an Irish gargoyle’s ongoing protection of St. Patrick’s
Cathedral. Crafted from the original work into audio drama by Daniel
Taylor, “The Gargoyle’s Shadow” provides a stellar example of the power
of the imagination as the grotesque guardians come to life and keep
watch over their sacred tasks.

Chattacon, in its attempt to appeal to an ever-widening circle of fandom, will be holding gaming tournaments in a number of popular role-playing, card, board and miniature games from a variety of sources. Chattacon will also offer its annual fare of computer-based and home arcade style games in the computer room. If you are interested in being a referee or gamemaster for a tournament, please contact the gaming coordinator, KC Charland .

Are you the Munchkinliest Munchkin of the Munchkin Bunch? Dying to try out all your back stabbing skills on all your buddies? Come compete in the Tennessee Munchkin Championships. Come try as many versions of Munchkin as you can!
Calling all slackers! Compete in the Tennessee Chez Tournament. Come try as many versions of the Chez games as you slackers can handle!
SlugFest Fest! 6pm Friday and Saturday. Slug it out in a tournament of SlugFest Games. Drink your fellow adventurer’s under the table in Red Dragon Inn, sacrifice yourself to the Tiki God in Tiki Mountain, fight Kung-Fu Cinema style, be a suave swashbuckler in En Garde and take out terrorists in Fishing for Terrorists!
