Stephen L. Antczak has had many works of fiction and nonfiction published over the years. Aside from pursuing his writing career, he is currently a PhD candidate in psychology.
Antczak makes videos about books and book-related topics, writing, science, and fandom for the YouTube channel, @INerdius. Regarding his video on “What Fahrenheit 451 is Really About” one viewer stated it “gave me a whole new perspective” on Bradbury’s classic novel. His series on the 100 novels and 1000 short stories that best represent 20th-century science fiction are the primary focus of his channel, and he recently added a new series, the 100 movies that best represent 20th-century science fiction.
His short novel God Drug was described by Piers Anthony as “a compelling, disturbing exploration of a dark side,” and by Michael Moorcock as having “all the ingredients of the very best modern science fiction.” His short story collection, Daydreams Undertaken was called by FOSFAX “…better than the short fiction Hugo nominees in a typical year.” His second collection, Edgewise: Dark & Disturbing Stories was called “…an effortless blend of genre spanning tales” by Kasey Lansdale.
As an independent author, Antczak will be releasing the first two books in two different YA series in 2025.
