Hotel

Chattacon returns to the Chattanooga Choo Choo for another year.

The Choo Choo is offering their train car rooms at the same convention room rate of $93. There are still rooms available and booking early will insure you a room at the Choo Choo. Chattacon has secured an overflow hotel with matching rates. This will become available when needed. We are working to have shuttle options. Also Chattacon will still have room parties. Please let the Choo Choo know if you wish to host a room party.

Chattacon’s special room rate is $93 if you book before January 1st.
Make sure you mention Chattacon when registering to get the correct rate!

To book your room, please call the hotel directly at (423) 266-5000.
Do not take the option to speak with the Global Reservation Customer Service.

If the person on the phone says the hotel is sold out, please make sure you are talking to someone at the Choo Choo.  They have the information regarding the overflow hotel and can direct you accordingly once the Chattacon block sells out.

The World Famous Choo Choo is a historic hotel in Chattanooga that can trace its history back to The Terminal Station erected in 1908 by the Southern Railway. The station began operation in December of 1909 and for the next 61 years it served as a railway hub of transportation in Chattanooga. Southern Railway closed the terminal in 1970 due the decrease in rail traffic in the south. On April 11, 1973 the Terminal Station reopened as the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo.
