Every year Chattacon has some of science fiction and fantasy's best artists on display. National and local artists bring hundreds of their finest artwork to our Artshow.  In past years we have had some great artwork, but each year brings us wonderful surprises.

If you have an interest in displaying your artwork, Chattacon will give you a large number of potential buyers. If you are interested in purchasing artwork, Chattacon's Artshow wil have something for you.

This year we are lucky to have artist Ruth Thompson as our featured Artist Guest of Honor.  Ruth has won the Ron Hubbard’s Illustrators of the Future Award as well as many other awards.  Her artwork has been used by TSR, Wizards of the Coast and Steve Jackson games.

Ruth says that while in high school she was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons by her Knight in bright white Nikes.  Later while at the University of Alabama, she made her first sale at Continuity in Birmingham, Alabama.  Fortunately for us, she sold 7 of the 12 pieces she took, prompting her make more for us to buy.
